Today August 11th, 1999 WSKY Gainesville, Ocala, Lake City Chris Wells hosted a show about Florida Drug Czar Jim McDonough's plan to use fungus to eradicate marijuana. Local Activist Kevin Aplin has been on Wells' show numerous times and it appears to have had an effect, Wells was totally biased against this plan and urged people to call the governor and gave out the number.....
The number she gave out is 850-488-7146 which is the press office for the governor, Jeb Bush. Apparently they were not prepared to handle the number of calls because they phoned the radio station and asked them to stop announcing that number and gave an alternate number that led to a canned answering machine.....
Please make a simple 2 minute phone call and urge Mr. Bush not to pursue this biological warfare in Florida.
